The layout of other engine compartments is similar. First, lift up cover and remove the intake air duct. On the air filter housing cover, unsnap the retaining clips and swing the cover sideways. If necessary, remove the intake air duct. The old air filter element should be removed and discarded next. Clean the air filter housing and install a new filter element. Make sure that the sealing surface of the air filter housing plastic inner and outer parts is flush and properly seated before snapping the filter housing halves together with the retaining clips.
