Unscrew the wheel bolts at the back of the vehicle, lift the back of the vehicle and position it safely on jackstands and block the front wheels to ensure that it does not roll. Installation Uninstall the rear wheels and the lower control arm stone trim protector (where applicable). Once more, remove the mounting fasteners of the stabilizer bar links and loosen the links of the bar making sure to take the stabilizer lower mounting fasteners off first then the upper fastening. In the convertible models, also pull off the rear cross brace bolts as well as the brace. Then, loosen the stabilizer bar clamp mounting fasteners and remove the stabilizer bar, where in models with two rear mufflers, some of the rear of the exhaust system could have to be disassembled in order to access the stabilizer bar. Check the stabilizer bar bushings and link bushings, checking on cracks, tears or deterioration and replace as needed and assess the end of the links ballstuds, by checking on loose ones and replacing the links, where necessary. Installation is done in the opposite sequence of removing and lastly, tighten the wheel bolts to the right torque value.
