How to remove and refit the Door Lock Actuator, Door Lock Cylinder and Interior Door Handle on Audi A3?

In order to take out the interior door handle, begin by removing the door inner trim panel, then unscrew the screws inside and take the door handle off. To access the retaining screw, the front door lock cylinder housing, open the door and unclipped the rubber grommet. Plug the lock cylinder housing in the door, and slide it into position, making sure that it snaps into place, and the outer handle lies against the door panel and screws in the Trox. Install the grommet once more in order to cover the screw and verify the lock functionality and close the door. In the case of a door lock assembly, the process of refitting is opposite of the removal process when it is necessary to place the operating rod and the flexible cable drive to the correct position, reconnect the wiring connector, and securely tight all the bolts. Lastly, re-install the window glass/ frame and lock cylinder housing, and ensure that it works properly before affixing the door trim panel on it.
