How to adjust the Parking Brake Cable on Audi 80?

Chock the front wheels, jack up the rear of the car, and support it on axle stands. Remove the heat shield if fitted. Unscrew the adjusting nut from the end of the parking brake cable lever rod and take out the cable compensator bar. Disconnect the front ends of the outer cables from the underbody bracket, followed by disconnecting the rear ends of the cables. Release the cables from the underbody clips. When refitting, reverse the removal process and adjust the parking brake cable.
