In order to change the pump, drain the coolant and raise the vehicle. Take out the drivebelt and engine cooling fans. In the case of four-cylinder engines, remove the water pump and dispose the O-ring and use a new one to put in. Same with V6 engines which should be properly installed and checked whether there are any leaks post installation.
