In order to remove the latch, remove the inner trim panel of the trunk lid and disconnect the lock operating cables. Record the position of the latch, loosen the nuts of retention and pull out the lock unit. To install, undo the process, and make sure that it is aligned properly. And lastly, take away the trunk lid struts like hood struts.
