How to remove and install the ignition lock cylinder and ignition switch on 2006 Audi A4?

The ignition switch, which is found under the steering column, comprises of a housing, lock cylinder and switch device. Unconnect the battery, take off covers and make sure that the shift is in Park. Loose and align components then remove the key lock cylinder and ignition switch. Uninstall by undoing the uninstall.
