How to remove and install the door lock and door lock cylinder from a door on 2006 Audi A4?

In order to dismantle the latch, one would remove the door trim panel and watershield after which the window glass regulator is removed. Unplug the electrical harness at the door lock, the operating rod at the door handle. Unscrew the screws and take off the lock. To install, use the reverse.
