In order to test the braking system vac pump, the engine cover and air filter housing must be removed. To measure the vacuum, disconnect the vacuum hose, it connects a gauge, start the engine. Again reconnect the hose but the whole pump assembly needs replacement in case of failure. Install new O-rings.
