How to remove the heater core on 1995 Audi 90?

Disconnect the battery negative lead, then carefully pull off the heater control knobs. Remove screws from the knob recesses and the surround panel, then the screws securing the heater controls. Disconnect the facia wiring loom, remove the complete facia panel, and disconnect the heater core hoses. Finally, withdraw the heater core from inside the car.
