How to replace and check the fuel pump situated on 1993 Audi 90?

On the left side of the engine is the fuel pump which is actuated by an eccentric on the intermediate shaft. Unscrew clips, unscrew hoses and take off the pump. Confirm it by reconnecting the fuel supply, and using the lever manually. wash, re- screw, and tighten bolts.
