How to remove and refit the outer side view mirrors trim panel on 1992 Audi 80?

Remove the door trim panel. For electrically-operated side view mirrors, unscrew and disconnect the wiring, then withdraw the mirror. For manually-operated side view mirrors, mark the window regulator carrier plate, adjust bolts, and remove the mirror. Renew mirror glass by prising it out. Refitting is a reversal of removal, adjusting as necessary.
